Sponsored Silence – Ask friends, colleagues, co-workers to sponsor you for an hour (or more) of silence. A great idea for chatterboxes!

 

 

Sell Stuff on Ebay – Use eBay for charity to sell your unwanted items and choose how much of the sale price you’d like to donate to Assistance Dogs N.I.

• At work and school

Dress up for a Day – Do you dare to wear something different for the day?  Ask friends and family to sponsor you to spend 12 hours in fancy dress.

Unwanted Gifts – Hold a table sale or donate to our charity shop unwanted gifts

Coffee Morning – Open your house for a coffee morning, put the kettle on, combine with Bring and Buy Sale. Have a nice time with family and friends whilst raising money too.

Bad Tie Day –  Look out for those out dated ties and dazzle your friends. Pay to display the outrageous ties. Your friends could even pay you to remove the ties.

Quiz Night – These are quick and easy to organise and always popular.  You could hold it in a café, hall and raise money from drinks and snacks.

Take on a challenge – 5K walk, a marathon, a skydive, etc

 

Book Sale – A book sale at work or school works well with family members.  Raising money and encouraging reading at the same time.

Walk to School Week – Ask friends and family to sponsor you to walk with your children to school for a week.  Encourage other families and parents to do the same.

Silly Sports Day  – Three-legged race, egg and spoon, tug of war, with a fee per team and prizes for best athletic efforts.

Dress up as your Hero – Transform yourself into your favourite superheroes or a hero from your favourite book.

 

Baking Competition -Get colleagues to compete to be Best Office Baker.  Vote for the tastiest creations and give them away for donations.

Putting on a production?  Why not ask for donations to go towards Assistance Dogs N.I.

• With Friends

Bingo Night – It’s great, fun and easy to organise.  You can offer small prizes for the winners, while raising money for Assistance Dogs N.I.

Film Night – Organise a collection with friends and families and have a movie night.  You can fundraise by selling tickets to your event or ask people to pay for movie snacks and drinks. Even theme the night on your favourite movie.

Come Dine with Me – Ask friends and family to a dinner night and charge them restaurant prices, then donate the money to charity. Great opportunity to sell raffle tickets.

Karaoke Contest – Everyone has a secret party piece that they’re dying to share, so why not grab a microphone and organise a pay-to-enter Karaoke contest.

Have a Party Night – Invite family and friends to dance the night away and collect donations on entry.

Games Night – Ask family and friends around for a game’s night, charging an entrance fee.
