Since the start of ‘lockdown’ it has been a very challenging time for us. Joe refuses to go outside and was very obsessive about flying in an airplane.
We took him up to the airport with Dougal so he could see that the airport is closed.
Dougal has played a key part in getting us out of the house for walks. He is a very placid dog and responds well to Joe’s meltdowns. Dougal is so calm and to be honest I think he helps calm me down when we are trying to deal with Joe.
I do not know how we would have coped if we hadn’t Dougal. Especially when Joe is up most of the night, Dougal is great company and so cuddly. He loves his frisbee and tennis balls so much, but for a Labrador he is not interested in the water! Sheenagh (Mother)
