Whatever skills you have, there may be ways you can use them to help us with our work. In the past (and present!) we have used the help and advice of volunteers with a variety of different skillsets!

Offering your skills and time in this way helps us make the most effective use of our time and funds.

We are currently looking for the assistance of the following professions. 

  • A professional film maker
  • An architect
  • A graphic designer

 

Are you a Professional Film Maker?

We are looking for a professional filmmaker to volunteer their time and skills to produce a film showcasing the amazing work our dogs can do.

We are looking at social media design along with marketing pieces for the charity.

Assistance Dogs NI

Are you an Architect?

We are looking for an architect. The Charity planning to add another social enterprise and we are currently looking at a number of premises. Regardless our choice we will need to renovate the building  to meet our needs.

Registered Speakers

We are always looking for volunteers to give talks about Assistance Dogs NI to various groups including: Schools, Colleges, Women’s Institutes, Masons.

Training is very informal and covers:

  • Charity Background.
  • How we train and care for our dogs.
  • What to include in a talk.
  • How to organise your own talks.
  • Administration- Paperwork, donations etc.

There will be no pressure from us about how many talks you give, and you can always so no! The only thing we do ask is that once you have committed to give a talk you don’t cancel it unless it is an emergency. If you are interested please fill in the enquiry form below and we will be in touch.
